So just how rich is Bill Gates?
Well, he makes many millions per day from stock sales.
What happens when our debt is more than we are worth as a nation? Click here to see our assets from the CIA Fact Book
The CIA Fact book lists our assets and above is our debt.
NEW YORK (AFP) – Tick, 20,000 dollars, tock, another 20,000 dollars.
Sometime in the next two years, the total amount of US government borrowing is going to break through the 10-trillion-dollar mark and, lacking space for the extra digit such a figure would require, the clock is in danger of running itself into obsolescence.
The clock’s owner, real estate developer Douglas Durst, knew such a problem could arise but hadn’t counted on it so soon.
An interesting video clip of Rush Limbaugh prior to his becoming very famous. The video clip is 11 minutes and could very well be the last time that he has ever had anyone oppose what he says
So with all of the W speak about the Iraq War, Keith Olbermann is holding W to the words he used in the past
Do Americans care when their liberties are sacrificed by politicians interested in money/oil/power rather than the good of the citizenry?Â
Keith Olbermann is just the best!!
But tonight’s winner, Barbara Bush. Former First Lady, mother of the president. The “Houston Chronicle†reporting today and her chief of staff confirming that Mrs. Bush made a generous donation to the Hurricane Katrina relief fund co-chaired by her husband, the former president, and former President Clinton, but there was a catch. The money she donated had to be spent, was earmarked for, was intended only for use for buying computer software programs for schools in Houston. Computer software programs through schools in Houston that were sold by her son, Neil. You would think if a woman has reached her 80th birthday she would understand that if you make a donation to charity, and make the charity give the donation to your son it’s not a damned donation anymore.
Barbara Bush. Today’s “Worst Person in the World!â€
So FOX News was known for their famous “some say” statements and then an assertion that really is not saying such as “Some say” puppies should be killed. So apparently W has been utilizing such straw man arguments and finally the press has seen the light that W’s arguments were often times baseless.

So Atheists make up 3% of the US population, but only .2% on the US prison population. Not bad for a group who “doesn’t believe in anything”.
So 12 people dying as a result of a mine collapse which was at least partially if not totally due to lack of code enforcement (when your company is cited 208 times for life and death safety violations and you are still operating something is wrong) is 1/5 as bad as seeing Janet’s left breast…something is wrong.
A San Mateo public radio station aired a documentary that had some bad words in it….they were fined $15,000 so hearing a few bad words is 15% as bad as 12 people dying apparently.
Or if you follow further into the story you find that the coal mine owners wrote most of the regulations for the industry.
