I am going to do my part in contributing to the protest that is planned for Monday. As you all may know May the first is Mayday a Communist day of celebration. I am neither going to march, wave Mexican flags, stand out side and yell, but I am going shopping and spend a substancial amount in stores that are open,
So…………….What would you do if you had a family and no place to earn money, but there were plentiful jobs across the border? I don’t think the illegal alien is the bad guy in this, I think the illegal alien is a victim as is the American taxpayer to the empowerment of the corporation which has received what they wanted and now they don’t want it. Did you read the Grapes of Wrath? Imagine for a second YOU were down there and you had a family that didn’t have enough of anything….so what would YOU do….and WWJD?
Maybe instead of doing what that guy above so poorly discussed as his idea of a protest TO a protest….maybe we should
Complain about the current administration which has shredded many basics of our Constitution which sets us apart from “the bad guys†which we have now become –
Complain about the Iraq war profiteering by Bush and his family and friends while 2400 Americans are dead and over 40,000 to 100,000 Iraqis have been killed
Complain about the big corporations which, are the reason we have the immigrant problem now. Cheap labor was seen as a boon to corporations in raising their bottom line easily, but it is up to the taxpayer to pay for the illegals health care and school now.
Complain about big corporations which leverage this cheap labor to drop wages for less educated Americans who used to have good jobs in construction and other labor fields and now cannot support themselves on one salary let alone a family.Â
Complain about the government of Mexico which makes it a felony to be an illegal in THEIR nation and at the same time does not supply a corrupt free economy, security and real laws so we can build factories down there. If their people want jobs why don’t we build factories down there? And why do they have such a disparity of haves and have nots in Mexico? The US is headed that way quickly
Complain about Wal Mart and other big stores where most of the products sold there are made in China, taking jobs from Americans. The products marked Made in America are often made in Saipan which is an American territory but swimming in sweatshop conditions
Is the national economy doing well?
Wall Street may be doing well but PEOPLE are EARNING less
Big oil is making obscene profits which you are paying so that is coming out of your wallet
Big oil profits are being misused…how else can this be described?
Exxon’s CEO gets a $400,000,000 retirement package….so that means
$400,000,000 / $50,000 = 8,000 people with a decent salary $50,000 = $25 per hour for a full year
$400,000,000 / $25,000 = 16,000 people with a poor salary $25,000 = $12.50 per hour for a full year
California’s minimum wage is $6.75 x 2000 hours per year = $13,500 per year
$400,000,000 / $13,500Â = Â a minimum wage salary for 29629 people
So Exxon’s CEO equals 29629 people?Â
THAT is obscene.
So the bad guy in this is the illegal immigrant who is wanting to pay for a new tin roof on his shack? I don’t think so.
$12000000000= $100 per month for each 11 million illegal immigrant being sent back to Mexico or $50 per month if we have 20 million illegals…who knows. What would $100 per month buy you? Would it pay for your coffee/TV/eating out addiction that ALL of us have? So those people are the bad guys in this formula? I don’t think so!
Everyone should march in the streets on May 1…and how about taking a real look at what is going on in our country.
We are losing our country to “these people No…it was handed to them in many respects by big business and government that has catered to big business over the years.
Imagine for a second YOU were down there and you had a family that didn’t have enough of anything….so what would YOU do….and WWJD? So who is the bad guy in this formula?

A great Frontline documentary you can watch online about the Iraqi insurgency and lots more info.
A major or some US military leader on the ground in Iraq was saying how it is literally up to the Iraqis as to whether we will win or lose. He said the US can of course militarily beat the insurgents any day of the week but without the help that Iraqis will bring in human intelligence from locals telling where the insurgency is, the US will never win.
So the TV networks are finally getting their act together to deal with distribution via the net…and local stations are getting a piece of the action….for now. The conclusion is interesting in that affiliates could be seen as a dragging force eventually which kind of mirrors what is going on with satellite radio directors telling record companies to go directly to them with new releases and forsake FM music broadcasters.Â
NBC Forms Separate Company To Keep Its Affiliates Happy
from the a-plan-for-keeping-the-channel-happy dept
While Disney/ABC has said that ABC television affiliates need to learn to suck it up and deal with the fact that video content is moving online, it appears that others TV networks are taking a different approach. Just last week, the news came out that Fox was going to cut its affiliates in on any profits from online activities, and now NBC has stepped up to the plate — forming a separate joint venture between itself and its affiliates to split up the spoils of online content. However, this appears to be a slightly different beast than what we were talking about with Disney and Fox. Instead of covering the use of prime time NBC programming (which isn’t included in the deal), this is more about taking the content from the affiliates, such as news programs, and helping put it online in a unified manner. This way they can sell advertising across the entire thing and everyone gets a piece of it. Other than that, it seems pretty vague. What may be most interesting as the networks figure out how to deal with all of their affiliates in this new era, is whether or not they start to feel that the affiliate model no longer makes sense. It could quickly become a legacy issue that the networks have to “deal with,” rather than a better model for handling local programming.
So it looks like the rest of the world is finally catching onto the
So the first time I saw this website was a Friday evening and I could not stop watching the videos. I watched them so often I just downloaded them to my harddrive where they remain today, several months later. That night I tried to go to sleep but failed because of the uncontrollable laughing fits I would have when I thought of the videos as my head laid on my Strawberry Shortcake pillowcase. I could not stop laughing. I still have laughing fits and consult to the videos as I think, “What Would Tourettesguy Say.”
