The Republicans are willing to let one out of every ten of your friends go broke in the name of foiling the president and reclaiming control over the government (which they say they hate). Think about that. They have no plan for fixing unemployment. No matter how often the president acquiesces to Republican demands, they still vote against anything the president intends to sign into law. They’re using the filibuster. They’re exploiting ignorance. They’re lying about deficits. They’re contradicting their own positions, sometimes in the same day or even the same sentence. They’re passing off gibberish as statesmanship. They’re holding the American economy hostage in the most obvious political ratfuck since the Nixon years, only this time, the stakes are deadly serious. Your job. Your money. The future of the economy. They’re sabotaging all of it.
But “stop spending” fits nicely on a t-shirt or on a misspelled protest sign. So that’s something at least.

Well no. The thing that changed was the implementation of for-profit prisons. Once it makes money to lock people up…what is the motivation to keep them out of prison? Hence we have crazed drug laws. Video is located here
Before the New Deal, the elderly were the poorest demographic in the country. When you got too old to work, you lived on your savings, and if you didn’t have savings you starved or lived on charity or with your children. America was mainly rural then with most people living on farms, so those elderly worked until the day they died. Healthcare existed only for the rich and hospitals were a cash affair except for the “charity ward”. If you were sick or injured you went home and you either got better or you died. There was no public health service. Hypothermia was the second leading cause of death for the elderly and pneumonia was the first. In Detroit in 1932 two people an hour died of starvation; in Toledo unemployment was at 70%. Story is located here
The GOP leader in The House of Representatives seriously said we may have to get rid of Social Security today.
Refusing to extend unemployment benefits to 1.2 million Americans by adding to the deficit, Senate Republicans by a 41 to 57 margin on Thursday again filibustered the Democratic $112 billion jobs bill. As it turns out, most of the roughly $35 billion still needed to pay for it could largely come from a single source: the estate tax. But thanks to the same GOP obstructionism, Republicans have chosen a one-year windfall for a handful of billionaires over millions of Americans in the throes of financial crisis.
Already scaled back from its original $200 billion price tag, the $112 billion jobs package includes tax cuts, critically needed aid to states and the extension of unemployment benefits. On Sunday, Maine Republican Olympia Snowe wrote to Harry Reid suggesting Democrats cut further by offering a stand-alone unemployment insurance bill. For a Republican Party which had no problem with deficit spending during times of prosperity, helping struggling Americans during a recession is another matter altogether, As the New York Times reported:
The Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, has insisted that the bill not add to the deficit. Democrats argued that they had found ways to cover the entire cost of the $112 billion measure, with the exception of the $35.5 billion extension of unemployment benefits, which some Republicans said they could accept…
“The only thing Republicans have opposed in this debate are job-killing taxes and adding to the national debt,” Mr. McConnell said. Anticipating that Democrats would reject his proposal, he added, “Their commitment to deficit spending trumps their desire to help the unemployed.”

You are smart people. You know that the tax cuts have not fueled record revenues. You know what it takes to establish causality. You know that the first order effect of cutting taxes is to lower tax revenues. We all agree that the ultimate reduction in tax revenues can be less than this first order effect, because lower tax rates encourage greater economic activity and thus expand the tax base. No thoughtful person believes that this possible offset more than compensated for the first effect for these tax cuts. Not a single one.
– Andrew Samwick
Chief Economist on Bush’s Council of Economic Advisers
ie- The result economic gains from initial tax cuts did not pay for the initial tax cuts.
ie- Reaganomics/Bushonomics failed to pay for itself and only pushed money to the top of the economic food chain.

The gaps in after-tax income between the richest 1 percent of Americans and the middle and poorest fifths of the country more than tripled between 1979 and 2007 (the period for which these data are available), according to data the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) issued last week. Taken together with prior research, the new data suggest greater income concentration at the top of the income scale than at any time since 1928.
While the recession that began in December 2007 likely reduced the income of the wealthiest Americans substantially and may thereby shrink the income gap between rich and poor households, a similar development that occurred around the bursting of the dot.com bubble and the 2001 recession turned out to be just a speed bump. Incomes at the top more than made up the lost ground from 2003 to 2005.
Raising taxes for the top 2% would get us pretty far down the road to balanced budgets…or we can continue the direction Reagan/Bush put us on and the national debt will continue to skyrocket. Story is located here
Let’s assume the Bush tax cuts expire for people making more than $250,000 and discretionary spending grows very slowly in the coming years. By 2022, that scenario puts debt at about $21.5 trillion. MacGuineas thinks the debt-to-GDP ratio should be no more than 60 percent: That means debt will need to come down to about $14.6 trillion, and we’ve got $6.9 trillion to cut between 2012 and 2022 to get us there.
Don’t be fooled by false deficit prophets: Many policies that sound impressive when a politician promotes them don’t actually save much money. Cutting foreign aid in half, for instance, will save $210 billion by 2022. That would get us 3 percent of the way there. Cutting earmarks in half is even less effective: It would save $130 billion by 2022.
The Bush tax cuts are really expensive. The tax cuts expire this year. If lawmakers renew all of them, they’d add $6 trillion to the deficit from 2012 to 2022. If lawmakers let the cuts for the rich expire but maintain the breaks for the middle and working class — which is what they’re likely to do — they’ve still stacked up $4.9 trillion in debt. If they drop everything except the patch protecting the middle class from the Alternative Minimum Tax , they’ve only added $1 trillion — and cut $3.9 trillion from our expected debt. Much of the medium-term problem would vanish right there. Story is located here
Oil generally goes into a big betting pool and is mixed up as far as who drilled what…so really… tracing oil is tough to do since it all goes onto the world market…so to boycott BP DRILLED oil is almost impossible for us consumers.
To boycott BP STATIONS you are hurting the local businessmen and the employees who own the gas station as the vast majority of gas stations are NOT BP corporate owned.
CITGO is the Venezuelan oil company and again their gas stations here are all locally owned. Here is a pop quiz…when oil was so high a few winters ago name the oil company that sold oil AT COST and much of it was FREE to the poor people of the Northeastern US who were having a very brutal winter. Hugo Chavez’s CITGO is the answer. NONE of the US oil companies would help because they would miss out on profits. Here is a good look at the nutty hypocrisy about Venezuelan oil.
Interesting there is never a loud call to boycott Saudi oil which is 14% of our oil.
I would think women of the USA would lead an oil boycott overall due to the fact that MOTHERS buy so much gas shuttling the kids around and that money ends up going to oppress women elsewhere but I guess women here are not that upset about how they would be treated over there.
Too bad we did nothing during the Bush Administration to get there
The answer? Get the USA off oil. This should be a Manhattan Project of the largest kind. But instead we have this

Gov Piyush Bobby Jindal has deployed only 1100 or so National Guard troops and other states many many less.Friday, June 25th, 2010
You know how Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal likes to blame the Federal government for the damage caused by BP’s oil spill, arguing that he could have kept all the oil at bay if President Obama had only given him the resources he needed to fight it?
Well, last night CBS News tore Jindal’s argument to shreds, pointing out that while President Obama has authorized up to 6,000 National Guard troops to fight the spill, Jindal has only activated 1,053 of them — leaving more than 80% sitting idle, doing nothing to protect the state. The Bush Administration has stood in favor of tax cuts through thick and thin. In the midst of a booming economy and large projected budget surpluses, President Bush’s top economic policy initiative — both as a candidate in 2000 and upon taking office — was to cut taxes. When the economy slowed, the Bush Administration’s response also was dominated by tax cuts. Now, in the face of yawning deficits and its own pledge to reduce them, the Administration has again put forward large, permanent tax cuts as part of its most recent budget.
This analysis offers a comprehensive review of the Bush Administration’s tax cuts. It assesses their costs, benefits to different income groups, and economic effects to date, as well as down the road. It both synthesizes previous findings about the individual tax measures and includes new findings about their combined effects, using new distributional analyses by the UrbanI nstitute-Brookings Institution Tax Policy Center and fresh cost estimates by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. The early returns on the effects of the tax cuts have not been good.
- The Bush tax cuts have contributed to revenues dropping in 2004 to the lowest level as a share of the economy since 1950, and have been a major contributor to the dramatic shift from large projected budget surpluses to projected deficits as far as the eye can see.
- The tax cuts have conferred the most benefits, by far, on the highest-income households — those least in need of additional resources — at a time when income already is exceptionally concentrated at the top of the income spectrum.
- The design of these tax cuts was ill-conceived, resulting in significantly less economic stimulus than could have been accomplished for the same budgetary cost. In part because the tax cuts were not as effective as alternative measures would have been, job creation during this recovery has been notably worse than in any other recovery since the end of World War II. As the Huffington Post’s Jason Linkins pointed out, Actor Craig T. Nelson, perhaps best known his role in the TV series Coach, appeared on the Glenn Beck show last night and unleashed an impassioned rant against taxes. Railing against — what appeared to be — the entire idea of government in general, Nelson told Beck he is “really thinking about” not paying any income taxes.
Nelson went on to refer to himself as “a fiscally responsible grandfather” and said he’s being roped into paying for government programs he doesn’t believe in. “I’ve been on welfare and food stamps…did anyone help me?” Nelson said, perhaps not realizing that welfare and food stamps are actually forms of government aid.
Watch the video below:
There’s another little trick that is about to become especially prominent in the coming years. When Reagan came to office and began his “voodoo economics” project of nearly quadrupling the national debt, after having promised to cut it instead, many people were puzzled by this. Personally, I figured that they just did the math and realized that in the real world (where governments sometimes live but campaigns rarely do) something simply had to give. If you slash tax revenues and massively increase military spending, guess what’s gonna happen to your budget? Others, however, saw a more nefarious game being played, and perhaps they were right. This is the idea that they intentionally ran up deficits so large that the national government would be forced to do what it otherwise would not, which is to slash spending on popular entitlements and other social programs.
Whether or not the conspiracy was real, it is the case that the federal government is running humongous deficits every year, which pile up further on the massive national debt. And it is also the case that we are now hearing a rising chorus on the right especially from the tea party know-nothings about slashing government spending as the top priority for Washington. Even though, according to the principles of Keynesian economics, this is the last thing we should be doing during a recession. Story is located here.

When the House agreed to give subpoena powers to President Barack Obama’s newly formed oil-spill commission, 420 members voted for the plan and only one voted against it: Texas Republican Ron Paul.
A spokeswoman for Paul declined to elaborate on the congressman’s vote.
Paul’s son, Rand Paul, a Republican running for the open U.S. Senate seat in Kentucky, came under fire last month for supporting BP. In an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” he said Obama was “un-American” for criticizing the oil company, and said attacks on BP were part of the “blame game,” where tragedy is “always someone else’s fault.”
For over two decades, he’s subscribed to that old, discredited Republican philosophy – give more and more to those with the most and hope that prosperity trickles down to everyone else.
In Washington, they call this the Ownership Society, but what it really means is – you’re on your own.
Out of work? Tough luck.
No health care? The market will fix it.
Born into poverty? Pull yourself up by your own bootstraps – even if you don’t have boots. You’re on your own.
Ours is a promise that says government cannot solve all our problems, but what it should do is that which we cannot do for ourselves – protect us from harm and provide every child a decent education; keep our water clean and our toys safe; invest in new schools and new roads and new science and technology.
Our government should work for us, not against us. It should help us, not hurt us. It should ensure opportunity not just for those with the most money and influence, but for every American who’s willing to work.
That’s the promise of America – the idea that we are responsible for ourselves, but that we also rise or fall as one nation; the fundamental belief that I am my brother’s keeper; I am my sister’s keeper.

This is what happens when the GOP Corporatists support a corporation that cuts corners and fouls the area in which these GOP supporters work work.Thursday, June 24th, 2010
Many of these people are Republicans…ok Teabaggers or Conservatives. Now the thing to remember is that this political groups in Washington is the group supporting and even apologizing to BP. So when the oil from an oil well fouls the people’s work area and they cannot work they have no one to blame but themselves. They are not going to admit it but the truth is the GOP base here is misled and misinformed with a political philosophy that they cannot logically support. As far as the oil spill cleanup they should be told “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” however they will be asking for more Food Stamps and more Obama Dollars and Federal aid. JUST WEEKS before this oil spill by BP who was cutting corners at every corner….these people were crying for secession to solve their problems. OH if they could just get Uncle Sam off their backs EVERYTHING would be great…cut the taxes of business and the super rich and deregulate industry. Well Teabaggers and GOP voters here is your chance. This is your chance to get out there and clean this oil spill yourselves. You get out there and clean this up by your bootstraps. And while you are at it refuse to accept Food Stamps as that is the mark of a Socialistic society…a society that helps people….which you object to. Secede and go do it yourself….or prove yourself wrong and stay and accept the Food Stamps that you voted against in the last election by voting for a Republican…Teabagger or Conservative. Perhaps one day they will realize the GOP supports industry over works and the people that live there are PEOPLE not INDUSTRY.
Applications for food stamps in Panhandle counties have soared since oil began gushing from the broken BP pipe leak. Since May 1st application are up 15 percent. The Department of Children and Families is keeping separate data to track people who qualify for food stamps because the oil has destroyed their careers. Don Winstead is the Welfare Advisor for DCF. He says along with the growing need for food assistance is a growing need for councilors to help families going through hard times.
“Being not only in the food stamp program and other benefit programs but also seen through our mental health program also. One of the things we typically do after disaster is increase our counseling capacity because people are going to be affected in a variety of ways,” said Winstead. Story is located here

President George W. Bush entered office in 2001 just as a recession was starting, and is preparing to leave in the middle of a long one. That’s almost 22 months of recession during his 96 months in office.
His job-creation record won’t look much better. The Bush administration created about three million jobs (net) over its eight years, a fraction of the 23 million jobs created under President Bill Clinton’s administration and only slightly better than President George H.W. Bush did in his four years in office.
Here’s a look at job creation under each president since the Labor Department started keeping payroll records in 1939. The counts are based on total payrolls between the start of the month the president took office (using the final payroll count for the end of the prior December) and his final December in office. Billionaires are now passing their estates to family members without paying taxes…maybe this will fix it.Thursday, June 24th, 2010
“This legislation would ensure that the wealthiest Americans in our country, millionaires and billionaires, pay their fair share while exempting 99.7 percent of Americans from paying any estate tax whatsoever,” Sanders said in a release. “At a time when we have a record-breaking $13 trillion national debt and a growing gap between the very rich and everyone else, people who inherit multi-million and billion dollar estates must not be allowed to avoid paying their fair share in estate taxes.”
Sander’s release notes that the estate tax was abolished this year “as a result of tax law changes signed into law by President George W. Bush in 2001. For the first time since 1916, heirs to multi-million and billion dollar fortunes may receive their entire inheritance free of any federal taxes, a giveaway that will cost the U.S. treasury at least $14.8 billion in lost revenue this year alone.” Story is located here

The current estimate of a flow of 5,000 barrels a day is almost certainly an underestimate, part of BP’s public relations damage control campaign. An internal memo from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration considered a possibility that the rate of leakage could “become unchecked, resulting in a release volume an order of magnitude [10 times] higher than previously thought.” This would mean 50,000 barrels a day. Even BP executives told members of a congressional committee that, in their estimate of a worst-case scenario, up to 2.5 million gallons a day could spill. Story is located here

But Sido was in the care of the San Francisco SPCA, and its director, Richard Avanzino, saw things very differently. When Smith went to court to force the agency to have the dog killed, Avanzino refused, vowing that all the SPCA’s resources would be used to fight for her life. Story is located here
The story of St Francis and his view of animals and natures is here.
“Socialism and fascism,” the author writes in Glenn Beck’s Common Sense, “have been on the rise for two administrations now.” Beck’s book Arguing with Idiots contains a list of the “Top Ten Bastards of All Time,” on which Pol Pot (No. 10), Adolf Hitler (No. 6), and Pontius Pilate (No. 4) all rank lower than FDR (No. 3) and Woodrow Wilson (No. 1). In Glenn Beck’s Common Sense Beck writes, “With a few notable exceptions, our political leaders have become nothing more than parasites who feed off our sweat and blood.”
This is nonsense. Whatever you think of Theodore Roosevelt, he was not Lenin. Woodrow Wilson was not Stalin. The philosophical foundations of progressivism may be wrong. The policies that progressivism generates may be counterproductive. Its view of the Constitution may betray the Founders’. Nevertheless, progressivism is a distinctly American tradition that partly came into being as a way to prevent ideologies like communism and fascism from taking root in the United States. And not even the stupidest American liberal shares the morality of the totalitarian monsters whom Beck analogizes to American politics so flippantly. Story is located here
With new estimates that as many as 2.5 million gallons of oil could be spilling into the Gulf of Mexico each day, the Niger Delta has suddenly become a cautionary tale for the United States.
As many as 546 million gallons of oil spilled into the Niger Delta over the last five decades, or nearly 11 million gallons a year, a team of experts for the Nigerian government and international and local environmental groups concluded in a 2006 report. By comparison, the Exxon Valdez spill in 1989 dumped an estimated 10.8 million gallons of oil into the waters off Alaska.
So the people here cast a jaundiced, if sympathetic, eye at the spill in the gulf. “We’re sorry for them, but it’s what’s been happening to us for 50 years,” said Emman Mbong, an official in Eket. Story is located here
I just watched a guy being interviewed on MSNBC who is THE super expert regarding underwater oil well blowouts from the ocean floor (if that is even a description of what is happening in the Gulf). He started his career when the first ever underwater oil well disaster happened of the coast of Santa Barbara in 1969. He is considered today to be the #1 expert in the world regarding these things.
In the interview, the guy said he had made predictions of what would unfold…he did this on Day 2 of the event. He had a list (a, b, c, d, etc.) of what would be tried…and what would happen. Interestingly, his predictions were spot on. Not only did he predict the EXACT order of what BP would do, he also predicted that each thing would fail.
Now, I already know the amount of pressure from 5000 feet of water is 2165 pounds per(this is very basic). So, this is the amount of pressure the ocean is pushing against every square inch of the oil spewing out from the earth. I’ve often wondered how much pressure is pushing UP the oil…because it is 18,000 feet deep, but it is not only under 5000 feet of water, but also 13,000 feet of the Earth’s crust.
This expert says the amount of pressure pushing UP the oil is between 40,000 and 50,000 pounds per square inch. He says he can only provide that “ball park figure” because he doesn’t know the exact composition of all the rock throughout the 13,000 feet of the Earth’s crust formation on top of that specific oil deposit. And BP won’t divulge that (or any) information.
He says it is impossible to stop the oil spewing from anything above pushing down. He says we have NOTHING that can provide 40,000 pounds per square in of pressure against anything.
NOW, here’s the “money shot,” from this guy. When asked how long the oil will gush if they can’t successfully drill new holes into the well to stop it (the only way to stop it)…he said, “conservatively it will gush for 24 years.” He also said it is quite obvious to him that there are more breaks in the pipe deeper down…it isn’t just broken at the top. He also speculated that the so called “top kill” attempt actually made things much worse than before and likely caused several breaks within the pipe because BP pushed the “mud” and then golf balls, tire parts etc down under 35,000 horse power (he didn’t say what pressure per square inch that is). He said you had between 40,000 and 50,000 psi pushing the oil up and then 35,000 horsepower of pressure pushing down against that…SO, the psi within the pipe at that point would have been HUGE…likely rupturing the pipe inside.
NOW I know why BP quit the “top kill” experiment 20 minutes into it. They knew they’d made things worse.
I’m seriously bummed.

The people who don’t get it….REALLY don’t get it.
We currently have no regulations on the internet. Corporations are Internet Service Providers. Those Corporations are looking to make users go to certain search engines…corporations are looking to skew the speed of pages favoring certain pages and slowing others…corporations are looking to completely stop access to Skype or other services such as Video on Demand and more. The Internet Service Providers would love to funnel your internet usage to pages THEY want you to use so they can make more money. Do you WANT to be forced to used AltaVista? Do you WANT to be stopped from using Skype to call people? Do you WANT to have the New York Times load at 1/10th the speed it currently does while the NY Post is given 100% speed? THAT is what is happening in Canada. Rogers, the communications giant is degrading the quality of Skype calls NOW. So you are using Skype and after 10 minutes the quality becomes unusable.
What to do?
If the Canadian government were to say Rogers cannot degrade the quality of Skype service, that would open the freedom people have to use the internet services they wish. It is not just Skype…it is not just internet search…it is everything. The Bush Administration left it for Obama to clean up the rules of the internet so you CAN use whatever VOIP service or search engine or online page you wish with the full quality of the Internet Provider.
OK right wingers…now tell me regulation is bad. Imagine your Internet Service Provider turning off YOUR favorite political blog entirely. Regardless the political leaning…EVERYONE NEEDS REGULATION otherwise you are truly at the mercy of the corporation. This is the base for Progressive thought…and the reverse of allowing corporations to do what they want is the base of Conservative thought. Conservatives do not get it at all and are willingly being bullied by corporations and as we have seen the Teabaggers have been protesting for MORE corporate control of their lives in many areas of their lives. UN-BELIEVABLE!
Thankfully the Obama Administration is getting close to regulating the internet for the benefit of everyone.

The people opposing Stem Cell Research that will save the lives of tens of millions of people and make lives easier for a hundred million people are Christian Fundamentalists
The people supporting the wars are generally Christian Fundamentalists. We have since seen the lies that led us to war which has resulted in 0 Christian Fundamentalist leaders apologizing for their pro-war ways. A million people in Iraq are dead and there have been no Christian Fundamentalists with any kind of display of anything
The people opposing present day civil rights advancements in America are Christian Fundamentalists. Actually many want to kill gay people….a Christian Fundamentalist dream!!!
The people opposing science and trying to push anti-science nut-thought that the world is 6,000 years old and are standing in the way of America progressing with SCIENCE are Christian Fundamentalists
The Christian Fundamentalists are controlling your life and making it worse. You would think logic would say since we have tens upon tens of millions of Christian Fundamentalists in America people would see this but apparently not.
I see pictures like this and the people that send them just show their lack of comprehension of what is going on in the world. Did you know Ronald Reagan used a psychic Jane Dixon who was the psychic for The Star magazine to guide his policy? Ronald Reagan saw 2 UFOs. Ronald Reagan was a Christian Fundamentalist. The church Sarah Palin goes to had a witch doctor voodoo session of pulling demons out of a parishioner and George W Bush was also an End Timer believing the end of the world is coming….LITERALLY. These are people in power NOW. They are HERE. They are in charge of your world and your country. And you are worried about a few nuts running around with crayon signs??????
The people believing this stuff are the same that think-
Glenn Beck is correct in that Obama is giving away Arizona
That poor kids should dumpster dive to find food
That Richard Nixon was a Communist
And that America should apologize to BP for ruining OUR Gulf
One thing ties them all together….Christian Fundamentalism.
When in fact…..they are wrong about THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF WHAT THEY BELIEVE!!!!!!
Who would you rather praise a murderous GOD who killed over 2 million people or Satan. Let’s go to The Bible to find out who we will praise
I wish those terrorist Christian Fundamentalists…aka The American Taliban would be sent AWAY!!
THEY ARE SICKENING!!!!! THEY ARE RUINING EVERYTHING THEY TOUCH!!!!!
Well the top 10% and the vast majority of that for the top 1% and .1%. So the indicator of stocks only shows the wealth of the super rich for the most part. Story is here

Beck attacks Post critic
Thriller author Glenn Beck attacked The Washington Post reviewer, er, me, personally on his Facebook page, saying he feels bad for Steve Levingston because “he soooo clearly wants to be an author, but, it seems, he just doesn’t have the talent.” He takes issue with a few other elements of the review.
Media Matters, which monitors and analyzes the conservative media, has assessed Beck’s criticism of my review, while Huffington Post reports that Beck’s book resembles a 2005 self-published techno-thriller by a computer programmer named Jack Henderson. Chris Kelly points out that “The Overton Window” is very much like Henderson’s “Circumference of Darkness,” except that “the villains planning the next 9/11 [in Henderson’s tale] are an ultra-right militia movement. In Overton Window, the right wing nuts are the heroes.” The piece notes another strange coincidence: Henderson turns up in Beck’s acknowledgements and is warmly praised “for pouring his heart and soul into this project.”
The jokes write themselves folks….

The president just called for creating a fund that would be administered by outsiders, which would be more of a redistribution-of-wealth fund. And now it appears like we’ll be looking at one more gateway for more government control, more money to government. If there is a disaster, why is it that government is the one who always seems to benefit after a disaster, and that’s of course what cap-and-trade would be.
A bunch of data here showing how the Teabaggers are wrong in that if they actually pushed for more Socialistic programs their effective pay rate would go up dramatically….if not their real pay would go up. Teabaggers truly do not understand that the things they are pushing for are making the rich and corporations richer and allowing themselves to pay more for less. Hopefully the programs of Democrats and Obama will be implemented…helping those without have a little more. Story and charts are posted here
And that reason is….trillions and trillions of dollars in rare minerals. We have a winner! Story is located here
He played a quote from Obama on his show today however his editing altered Obama’s meaning completely. The total quote as truly stated by Obama is as follows
I think that whether you are a white executive living out in the suburbs, who doesn’t want to pay taxes to inner-city children for them to go to school, or you’re an inner-city child who doesn’t want to take responsibility for keeping your street safe and clean, both of those groups have to take some responsibility if we’re going to get beyond the kinds of divisions that we face right now.
HOWEVERRRRR Beck played the quote as this
I think that whether you are a white executive living out in the suburbs, who doesn’t want to pay taxes to inner-city children for them to go to school.
THEREFORE he just turned the whole quote around from what was stated.
Here is video of his editing of Obama’s quote hence making Obama state something he never did.
Another lie by Glenn Beck on today’s show.
We have a very very clear winner! Story is here
