Obama is taking away his guns? Puhleeeeze!!!!
In his essay he talks about flag respect and defining Socialism, claiming Socialism began in America with the Obama Administration. That author does not know the proper definition of Socialism.
Ughhhh….he forgets so much so we must assume he is ignorant of the fact that America of the 20th Century… when it became a First World nation has had a very very healthy dose of Socialism injected at every level. Some wonderful Socialistic programs include-
Social Security and Medicare for the elderly-which feeds and houses millions of seniors and keeps them from dying in the streets.
Electricity-power companies did not electrify farm houses in America out of their own good will…it was a huge government program subsiding the electrification of every American home.
Highways-who do you think built the equivalent of the German Audobahn in America?
Farm subsidies- cheap food has been a political policy of every Administration so therefore with good years and bad years the American farmer has been the recipient of a huge handout from Uncle Sam which in result has kept America fed by America.
Nuclear Power-ALLLL of the nuclear power plants have had massive subsidies in their building and maintenance
Sports stadiums-ALLLL sports stadiums in America get tax beaks and subsidies of many sorts.
Education for all…all sorts of science projects including the Internet.
IF SOCIALISM IS SO BAD THEN HE SHOULD NOT BE USING THE SOCIALISTICALLY CREATED INTERNET WHICH IS A CREATION OF THE US DEFENSE DEPARTMENT AND THE DARPA CONCEPT OF DISTRIBUTED SOCIALISTIC DATA. The US Department of Defense (the most massive Socialistic entity ever created) saw the need for data and information to be de-centralized….Socialised if you will. So the precoursor of the Internet was created by the US DoD….so it is a product of Socialism. If you are truly anti-Socialistic…you should not use the internet.

A massive dose of Socialism touches everyone in America every day…at every moment…at every corner of the nation. You cannot escape it.
Corporations are the WORST offenders of being Socialistic entities in America. Tell me that with a corporate tax rate of 35% then how do multibillion dollar corporations get away without paying ANY Federal Income tax? Writeoffs. That my friend is called…..TADAHHHH…Socialism.
Privatizing of the profits and Socializing the losses. Corporate writeoffs. It is Corporate Socialism. Do not be fooled. Those who are Free Marketers are nothing more than supporters of Corporate Welfare and redistribution of wealth. Do the leaders of financial corporations really deserve $20 million paychecks? Such obscene paychecks are nothing more than a removal of WORK as the basis of PAY. NO ONE’s work is worth $20 million. This is the expectation of “something for nothing”. The Reagan Administration turned the tide on the poor…pointing the finger at the black welfare queen who was taking a few hundred extra dollars by cheating the system…which is wrong. However they forget the trillions that have been stolen from us by corporate Welfare Queens who do the same thing but with a few more zeros attached to every transaction….but they are not reviled as the poor welfare queens. That exorbitant pay of those executives should be passed along to the stockholders as dividends or additional income for the nation and to not do that is simply to take money from the stockholders. This is robbery. This is Socialism at its worst and being such a bald faced greedy grab it shows America at its worst. This is what Free Marketers want…something for nothing…Socialism.
Ok onto what this goof writes in his blogggg….
He fails to mention the Socialistic trillions in handouts to the rich and superrich over the past 8 years with the dropping of the tax rates resulting in a handout to the rich as never ever before…well other than in the 30s which mirrored our present financial nightmare. It has been the greatest redistribution of wealth as the top 2% of the US took more than 43% of the income in recent years and that percentage is growing. Apparently this is fine with the author of the link above. What would be the limit for such a redistribution of wealth? 50% of the income headed to the top 2%? 75%? 95%? He forgets that the magic of America is that everyone makes enough to buy expensive things. America is America’s main market. If the numbers of people that can buy a car or an HDTV or other items drops then those companies selling those things have tough times. The American Middle Class…. which is defined as being able to comfortably own a home and at least a car and have disposable income afterwards… in 20% of the world economy. Why is the world doing so poorly…the American Middle class is doing so poorly. So the fact that the income of the top 2% dominates the income brackets is a bad thing in and of itself as it is far too concentrated with one group as opposed to being more equally distributed…which is the definiton of the American Dream. In the 80s the top 2% only gained less than 10% of the income of the nation while now it is 43% and they own 59% of all assets in America. How is this bad? Recently the CEO of AT&T received a bonus of $18 million or so for performance of the company at the same time layoffs affected thousands. Can’t you just taste the hypocrisy and lack of logic in that formula? Amazingly bad. How many people could make a good salary with that amount of money to pull from? It is better for America to have one person make that exorbitant amount as opposed to several hundred? I do not see it.
The author of that piece goes to talk about 1776 being gone. Well he fails to mention of course that the Depression of 1933 was created EXACTLY the same way as our current financial problem with a pumping of real estate prices and the resulting bubble crashing. The result of the 1933 Depression…which almost had a rebound in 1937 as Republicans tried to balance the budget…was a number of restrictions on business that served us well until the 90s when those restrictions were repealed….leading to our present financial nightmare which has almost killed the world financially. The 40s and 50s are described by the right wingers as America’s golden years. The tax rate for the superrich at the time was somewhere between 60 and 90 percent depending on the year. Where is their outrage over those times? Eisenhower had a 90% rate for the superrich. America was doing badly then? People like the author from the link above forget such things so quickly.
Then he says something Glen Beckish of the government taking your right to vote away. I wonder if he took a stand against the 4th Amendment being taken away under Bush. I wonder if this guy took a stand against the vote of 2000 and 2004 that were stolen? I wonder if this guy took a stand against America proactively attacking another sovereign nation that did not attack us first? I wonder if he knows what happened to nations in the 30s and 40s that attacked other nations proactively in an aggressive manner regardless the reasons? Again, selective memory loss seems to be a feature of the author from above.
He mentions the government is after him so his paranoia only makes sense. Did you hear of the room in San Francisco in which AT&T sent all internet traffic through which was given a special connection to the NSA providing the US BushCO Government access to everything he said and did on the internet? How about that for taking privacy away? How about the CIA listening to everything he said on the phone in Bush’s time? Apparently those were ok.
Considering the Bush Presidential order decreeing the arbiter of who and who is not a terrorist was the President and only the President…this does net seem like a dictatorship to that writer.
Considering fair elections are a cornerstone of a Democracy the stolen elections of 2000 and 2004 were of no consequence to that author. Without those rights guaranteed to ALL and the right of free elections we had no Democracy at that time
Considering the concepts of the 4th Amendment are the basis of a Democracy and the 4th Amendment has been denied for many, the lack of Democracy was of no consequence for that author. Either we have rights for all…all the time…or we have no rights and we only have PRIVELIDGES. You have privileges until Bush took them away by denying the Guantanamo prisoners theirs. Guantanamo houses terrorists? Tell me of the convictions they have had there and we will see just how legitimate the housing of those prisoners has been and they have been housed only because their 4th Amendment rights have been denied…nullifying the definition of our nation as a Democracy. We are NOT a Democracy by definition.
That author from Faultline USA (and wow is that an ironic name as the fault lies with the right wingers!) has forgotten history and has written quite an assumptive piece as he looks into his crystal ball. One more thing…those predicting the future are “of the Devil” as all Christians know so again he contradicts himself in not knowing of what he speaks nor does. Seers of the future are looked down upon in Christianity. However stupidity is just par for the Christian course.

Your superrich masters thank you for being their chump as well as throwing so much money their way. You don’t need free Health Care as your HMO CEO needs millions (as 33% of your health care check is for overhead NOT for health care as opposed to 2.6 % for the VA or Medicare) just to get by when that could be helping people…you don’t need a union that provides a job…you don’t need a retirement pension you have a 401K….you don’t need Social Security just invest all that into the stock market as it does so well year after year…you don’t need a decent paycheck just as long as your CEO makes millions. WOW…amazing you have sense to breathe! But you cling to your God and your guns…they will help you.
